Joe Mysak

Joe graduated from the University of Western Ontario, where he studied business and economics, in 2004.  In that same year Mysak Realty was created and began its venture into apartment building sales.  Joe became the Broker of Record for Mysak Realty in 2008.

Joe’s sales have been featured in articles in The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail, and he has personally brokered over $350 million of multi-residential deals.  There is no doubt that Joe has developed a strong reputation in the industry for having a solid work ethic, powerful negotiation and communication skills, and unique and effective ways of marketing properties.  He is extremely dedicated to his clients, and his clients gain a great deal of confidence from his track record, experience, competitive nature, attention to detail, and straight-forward no-nonsense approach.

Joe has always been passionate about negotiating and “the art of the deal.”  Joe has made it a priority to build systems and create sales procedures that maximize profits for his clients.  He constructed a database system that provides sellers with maximum exposure for their buildings, and which allows buyers to quickly target buildings by geographic location and size.

Joe is always keeping track of the investment needs of his clients, and is constantly looking for ways to help them improve their real estate investment portfolios.  Working in the field of apartment building acquisition and sales is Joe’s passion.

He has been a speaker and participant at a number of industry conferences and events, and is constantly monitoring and studying the multi-residential property market in order to provide his clients with the best possible information and advice.

Matt Mysak

Matt has over 40 years of real estate experience, and continues to bring immeasurable skill and a zestful enthusiasm to the career he loves.

Matt taught for the Toronto Board of Education for four years before discovering the opportunities in the real estate industry.  He obtained his real estate license in 1972 and his Broker’s license in 1976.  Matt quickly established himself in the residential real estate market, becoming a manager, and later a co-owner, of Cholkan Real Estate, which had 23 offices in Southern Ontario.  After selling Cholkan Real Estate, Matt created Matt Mysak Inc., a brokerage which achieved great success in the residential real estate market in the west end of Toronto.

Always looking for new challenges and experiences, Matt entered the world of multi-residential real estate sales.  In 2004, he was thrilled to join forces with his son, Joe.  Together, Matt and Joe built Mysak Realty into one of the top multi-residential real estate brokerages in Southern Ontario.

Matt has exceptional communication skills, sophisticated product knowledge, and an unparalleled passion for real estate.  He is focused on using his knowledge and professional experience to help his clients achieve their real estate investment goals.

Matt is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (F.R.I.).  He is a past Director of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB).  Matt is affiliated with the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC), and the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA).  Matt’s commitment to continuing education keeps him current, and aware of market trends.

Elizabeth Kaupe

Elizabeth Kaupe graduated from the University of Lodz in Poland, with a Masters degree in Science.  She immigrated to Canada in 1981 and, shortly after, became a registered real estate agent with Re/Max West Realty Inc.  Elizabeth’s enthusiastic approach to sales, her tenacity, as well as her absolute commitment to quality customer service, quickly became apparent – many times in her career she received awards of excellence and professionalism.

In 2004, Elizabeth shifted her focus from residential real estate to multi-residential property sales.  Elizabeth has demonstrated her unparalleled diligence in the prosperous sector of investment real estate, and has sold millions of dollars of apartment buildings, acting for both buyers and sellers.

Elizabeth has indispensable skills in negotiation, mediation and arbitration, real estate investment planning, multi-residential building sales, applicable finances, mortgages, property law, and real estate appraisal.

Ashley Lapier

Ashley is the unflappable organizational backbone of Mysak Realty.  Ashley maintains a smooth-functioning office environment and is constantly seeking new ways to improve the efficiency of the business.  As a seller, you will likely work with Ashley to put together your due diligence packages.  As a buyer, you can take comfort in the fact that Ashley has reviewed all bills and documentation related to every property, to assure that information that is marketed to buyers is as accurate as possible.  Ashley keeps Mysak Realty’s buyers and sellers informed about any transaction-related deadlines that may be approaching, and helps connect them to specialists that they may require, such as engineering firms, lawyers, inspectors, and appraisers.

Ashley is involved in all transactions that our brokerage completes – she assists the sales team in preparing offers and waivers, and is in contact with lawyers to assure smooth closings.  Ashley also organizes weekly office meetings where the sales and administrative team discuss current properties for sale, share continuing education information and materials about the multi-residential sales industry, and brainstorm on ways to continuously improve customer service.

Caitie Corkal

Caitie has over nine years of customer service and management experience. Caitie looks after our marketing, including all website updates and maintenance. She works with our clients with organizing their bills and calculates the due diligence expenses and incomes for every listing. Caitie is also in charge of tracking all properties that are for sale through MLS, websites, newspapers and other sources. Staying informed about market transactions allows Caitie to help keep our database up-to-date and to provide the most recent sales and cap rate information to the sales team. She is detail oriented and strives to assist in making the process of buying or selling as efficient, accurate and smooth as possible for each and every client.
